I've got quite a few this year. I made 18 pints of marmalade. I'm eating a few every day but no way I can eat them all!

What is it like taste wise? More like Nagami or Miewa?

I have a Changshou kumquat tree. I would rate the Changshous very high for its ornamental value. The leaf size, shape and deep leaf color along with tree size and the smaller golden size fruit all combine to make a very attractive tree. - Millet

I'll assume the flesh would be as sour as Calamondin since they also make fantastic marmalades.

Skin is thick and really good, closer to meiwa, juicy, somewhat sour juice, sometimes get as big as a satsuma. Marmalaide is very mild. I used to make marmalaide from sour orange but got tired of the bite.

Now if only I could find some of these Changshou kumquats here in Florida! Sounds like it would make a great addition to the kumquats that thrive here.Unfortunately the laws are stacked against us hardy citrus collectors right now Shocked
