I'm looking to add another sweet orange and perhaps another blood orange to the stabe. I currently have Cara Cara, MK Valencia and Moro.

I'm considering the Washington Navel, Robertson Navel, Trovita and Shamouti. I heard very little about the Shamouti on the boards. Other varieties I may be leaving out is due to ingnorance hence the thread.

I also like some opinion of torocco versus sanquinelli on the blood side.

I'm willing to change the list based on opinions, so chime in on any varieties and please consider what I already have.

Which orange has the highest sugar content? I've always loved oranges, but I'm finding these sweet mandarins to be so delicous.

Is there any practice that can increase sweetness of standard naval, valencia, jaffa or blood types?

I love oranges, but they are not quite cold hardy enough for my location- z8. I'm growing Everhard Dwarf and the Biloxi orange (thought to be a form of valencia). I have a large, potted Moro that has taracco and variegated cara cara grafted to it. It is loaded w/ fruit. A recent storm broke a small branch that had lg v. cara cara fruit on it.
