Checked my fig trees in basement & tips are greener & some have baby breba figs on them. My 2 big Bay trees are leafing out new branches (usually the very first sign of spring), the flying dragons are starting to leaf out, the cherimoyas are starting to bud out, although 2 never lost all their leaves, so I will pull them off now. The big ruby red guava - with only ONE leaf hanging on has lots of bud growth starting. Many citrus have blossoms that are still hanging on - for all winter now, so maybe they will fruit, and, new growth on others. My many brugmansias are getting bigger & greener leaves. Even my Buddha Hand - which lost all leaves, has new branches & leaves & blossoms ready to open! Seeds I got from Eyecker & Citrus Joe sprouted. I even have some orchid flower buds.
Arm/wrist is better, sprained back is better, bronchitis going away...life is good!
Now waiting for snow to melt to see if fish will be belly up in pond. They will be if they didn't hybernate in rocks, & will be fertilizer.

It's only a good sign for inside plants. They are calling for winter storm watch & around 6 inches of snow this weekend Crying or Very sad
We had winds up to 60mph this AM too. My plants need more warm & sun in sunroom. The sun is higher so lots of it isn't coming thru window.
The citrus are just 'hangin in there'.

Shorts & T shirts are always ready (wishful thinking). They are now saying 8 - 12 inches of snow w/ sleet in some areas...coming from west & goin' east. Look out Eastern people!
Guy in front of me in grocery checkout was saying he's on his way to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow (Fri) for a week & then on to Jamaica. Rolling Eyes Crying or Very sad

It is hot down here! It skipped T-shirt weather and went straight to swim suit--somehow I think it won't last-- but it is nice to get some sun!

My only regret is loosing my lettuce patch-- I have had a gourmet blend that has been producing since fall. It will soon bolt, wilt and give way to tomatoes. I have tomato plants ready to plant--has anyone ever tried Arkansas Traveler-- it is suppose to do well in the heat.

Skeeter I'm planting my Tomato's tomorrow. If we do get a freak frost I'll just throw frost cloth over them for a night.
