I would like to embed photos into some of my postings but I'm having trouble figuring it out. Is there a tutorial for posting photos to this site anywhere? Is it a matter of using HTML? I hear people have used Photobucket to host their pictures but can any site be used? (i.e. Picasa, Snapfish, Flickr, Shutterfly, etc.)

Also, how does one get a decent picture in their avatar/personal icon? With the low resolution requirement, I have to compress the picture so much it's barely recognizable.
