The lemons are hidden deep in the canopy to prevent damage from frost. I was surprised that these are productive. A sport of eureka. I was surprised that I can use the lemons even if the color of their skin is still distinctly variegated and they are not yellow but pinkish, though it looks yellow in the camera. Isn't it supposed to be as yellow as the regular Eurekas when ripe? Very juicy too, and tart, was really impressed with my cultivar. The flesh is only slightly pink, more like yellow with tints of pink. But the skin is really pinkish instead of yellow, with still little variegation. I think the fruits are already mature based on the seed size inside it. I have other better looking branches loaded with pink lemons but technically they belong to my neighbor, if you know what I mean.
