Oh gosh, that's too bad, Citrusguy. Where did you buy the seeds from? Can you have the seller re-send? See if he would be willing to rinse the seeds in a 1:20 bleach to water solution. That may help to retard mold for you. I would love to get some seeds as well.
Yea, it happens. Bought it over Ebay, from a person actually residing in Italy. The seeds were almost viable. It was reasonable, something like 10 seeds for $4 (USD). Might have been around this time last year.
Question: wouldn't one normally have to acquire a seed lot permit, or else seeds should be expected tol get confiscated at customs upon entry?

Thanks, Millet, I thought so, but wanted to make sure, since it does have tangelo in its background, and some tangelos are monoembryonic (i.e., Temple).

Good question, Citrusguy. I don't know to be honest. I am not as familiar with shipping anything citrus into the United States, or any agricultural product. Seeds I know are less restrictive, but they still have some regulations for sure.
