I am trying to bud on Flying Dragon with difficultly.
My rootstock is very healthy. The twists on rootstock are driving me nuts.
Can anyone give me some advice, hints etc ?
Thanks Tim

Inverted T buds, using very small buds/budwood. I think it is easier to push the buds upwards, on an up facing part of the stem.
Small chip buds, again on an up facing section, easier than T budding ?
Buddy tape (or parafilm) is easier for me to use on the crooked stems.
What size stocks are you using?
