Purchased my first Mango Nectarine today. Mango Nectarines are a new fruit variety in the stores this year, at least around here. Never seen or heard of them before today. Their season is very short, just 2 - 3 weeks, so if you see them you better pick them up right away. The yellow fruit looks and feels like an Apricot, and has a peach/mango taste. Even though Mango is in the name of the fruit, the Mango is not in the fruits heritage. I rate it a 6 out of 10. - Millet

hello Millet,
I saw these fruit at our local "sons of albert" grocery store. They were nice looking, no aroma though, and at the price they were charging, could have purchased a real mango and some bananas. Did not buy one, I'm way to cheap. I did pick up some tropical punch plums? at the farmers market, and a bright yellow one that I cant remember the name of, both good.
