Before i order which is better for container citrus? You have Rootmaker and Rootbuilder. Is the soil mixture ratio different using these containers? Is 3 gallon to start out too big? My Citrus trees are 2 and 3 years old. Can you tell the difference using Rootmakers compaired to standard containers?

RootMaker are the only containers that I use. They are absolutely excellent.
The solid RootMaker containers are hard plastic containers in sizes 1, 3 & 5 gallon. Root builder normally comes in 100-ft. rolls and are cut at different lengths to make any size container wanted - up to 250 gallon. You can't go wrong with either one. - Millet

I recently picked up a rootbuilder pot, quite literally - I found it along the side of the road. While I can't speak to its efficacy yet, it seems quite durable, and the theory behind them makes some intuitive sense.

Millet,

what about the RootTrapper II? I asked you before and you had never used it but I wonder if anything's changed. I am interested because they have a variety of sizes and in white color which would really help with our AZ heat.

I recommend getting superroots instead of the rootmaker. I have both brands and also including the trays, and the mini pots. Rootmaker makes good trays. I would buy the trays but not the pots, get airpot superroots instead. Check out hydrogalaxy, ebay for the best price. more information at Terrahydro. Look on craigslist for used pots.

Millet gave me a sample of the rootbuilder ii roll and I agree it is excellent. I use the same potting mixture as other pots.
