HI JOE ,Stan and Tomm..

Did you guys get them to sprout right now i have 6 more blooms on the queen and many more on the Holly hocks .. im wondering if you guys need more seeds to try those where fresh and ready in trueth i sent them to you how i got mine from my friend in africa so i hope you know more then me on how to get them out of those pods ..

i have a prayer with 5 seeds im trying to start new from the queen one looks like its going to sprout and the other 4 have already sprouted ..

i did use a little warmer water on the napkin more then normal to cause a steam im trying the baggy method this time more germination then what i got befor with 100 seeds only 1 plant made it ..Good luck guys and any time you want ill send you more seeds i just really want this plant to get growing she is absolutly awesome with the changing of flower in the suns heat or different light from dark purple red to blue as in the picture ..Tammy

Tammy:

First let me apologize for not answering right away.
I missed this post when it was new.

I put the "African Queen" seeds in cones like I use for my
tree seeds. Maybe it is a good thing that I didn't try the
baggy method with them because my cat is using a baggy of
Cocktail Grapefruit seeds (that are now germinating) as a
pillow for her head. They are not important, so I am letting
her enjoy her catnap.

Wait a minute ...

I am back from checking for sprouts of "African Queen" seeds. None yet.
I, also, don't know how the get the seeds out of the flower
pods. Two I crumbled to look for little seeds. I was concerned that I may have destroyed the seed, so
the others I planted whole, about 1/4 inch deep.

TOMM I can and will send you more they are absolutly awesome plants i have 6 new pods from the flowers i will try and get you some .. found out the african name for the plant and already forgot it its so funny i cant even pronounce it LOL..

Same for You Joe and Stan .. let me know I also planted some seeds from here nothing yet i used misted sand this time as i thought it ight be close to what they normally fall on ..

im getting another african plant here in july with lots of seeds im willing to share with you all As well Tammy
