I picked my first Page mandarin off my lemon tree and tried it. I think it is still a little early, the peel had turned orange, but was still very tight and the meat was very firm. Taste wise, it was not really tart, but not sweet either. I have 4 more, so I will wait another week or 2 and try again.

I know it is possible that the lemon will have a negative effect on the taste, so I have also moved a piece to my Ponkan-- and that bark graft has just started to grow--I will definitely have to protect that limb for a while.

I ate a 'Page' from an old tree on the FSC campus yesterday. Definitely edible, but definitely not yet really ready. It was pretty tart. It won't be long, though! Maybe 2-3 weeks.

I've drunk a few glasses of page juice. Good already. Probably will get better.
