Here is ABSOLUTELY the best guide I have ever seen for picking which varieties of peaches to grow. It has helped me alot to decide what I wanted to plant. I myself think white peaches are so much better than yellow peaches but it was hard to find alot of info on the different varieties till I found this a few years ago. You can do a seach that involves different catagories like flesh color, chill hours, ripe date, bloom date, etc. It will give a brief description and photo of the fruit that includes everything about it including its susceptibility to certain diseases. Great tool. http://www.clemson.edu/hort/Peach/index.php?p=73
