It is an excellent fruit in the tasteful between the clementine and the blood orange. It is mature from December and I consume it even at the moment without tasteful loss.

Actually, this blood clementine resembles the AMOA8 quite well. I think it is safe to assume it actually is AMOA8! Wink

In fact, there is still possibility that this "clemetina Rubino Rosso" has nothing to do with clementinas and it is AMOA8 hybrid, cross between Moro and Avana mandarin. http://www.citrusvariety.ucr.edu/citrus/amoa8.html

Only one thing is strange, Alias wrote, that he consumes it in December and my AMOA is very late, like Avana tardivo diCiaculli - which is most likely one of AMOA parents.

Radoslav, Alias said she is consumable from December and continues to late April eat. My conclusion is the same, but I will say that the skin is red in March and the result at least as good. Only difference with what is said about Amoa8: the skin is thick and does not come off easily.

Just this morning I got a reply from the CRA of Italy on my question about the Rubino Rosso clementine...

Certainly, Amoa 8 is the subject of the slide.

Kind regards

On the ornamental market one can often find a variety called 'Clementina "Rubino Rosso"'. Can you tell me what variety this is exactly? My guess would be this is actually the AMOA8 hybrid...
