Well I got my Limequat on 5/6/06, it came with a few fruits already on it, and it was in a nursery pot so I got brave and transplanted it to a permanent home and put it on the deck. We had several days of rain and it was cooler so I brought it back in and then put it back out a couple of days ago and I have been watching it carefully for shock symptoms and none so far and yesterday I went out to give it a drink and IT HAS FLOWERS!!!!!! I am so excited Very Happy Exclamation I so thank you all for this site and your knowledge, and all of the sharing of tips etc! There will be Citrus growing in Minnesota!

Joan

Well, I rejoice with your procurement of limequat. They can take occassional frosts, hardy to about 20 deg F, but depends if the cold is sudden or gradual. The regular kumquats are rated at about 12 deg F in our area.
