Nah, I'd rather say it's about an average mouse-sized snail... Laughing

No, I saw them in Africa, they are much bigger than mice.
But, good new, they are good to eat. They are sold in clusters at the markets.

So, you eat the snails or they eat your citrus trees. Laughing

Eating snails sounds truly pure disgusting. Worse than people that eat cow's tongue. - Millet

Eeww. I'm with you, Millet. I remember one of my best friends playing a terrible joke on me as a kid. She got me to swap sandwiches one day during lunch period at school, tricking me into thinking it was roast beef. It was beef tongue. The minute I bit into it, I could tell it was something odd, due to the "crunchy" texture. Don't think I made it to the Girl's Room. Just awful.

Probably has a lot to do with the way they are prepared.

Done right they are probably tasty.

Wrong and Millet nailed although I don't think Millet is going to be trying them

however they ae prepared! Laughing

If the chefs get a taste for them they'll be an endangered species soon!!!

People think steamed clams are nasty. I'll eat 6 dozen at a time.

Never had snails before, but I have had conch & it was pretty good. We have these on the beach here all the time.
