I started growing a lemon tree from seed I got from my sister's back yard. She was from Modesto, CA. It sprouted 4/30/12, the day she passed away from cancer. So this lemon tree is special to me. I don't know what type of lemon tree it is, but I love lemons and will enjoy it. Container gardening is what I'm doing, (being from New England,) to cold for the lemon here in the winter. I have 6 potted lemon trees left.
I gave the rest away in memory of Jo Ann.
I can get anything to grow from seed it seems. Apple, Orange, Lemon, Avocado and Pomegranate... Etc... Everything I've tried has started to grow. Now to keep them alive.... That is the trick. That is why I'm here..... |

Welcome to the forum, Cindy, and that makes this little lemon tree pretty special. Feel free to post up some photos of the tree in the "Container Citrus" forum. We have quite a few container folks on the forum. _________________ Patty S.

Cindy, welcome to the forum!
There's a good sized group of New Englanders here.
What part of MA are you in? You may want to update your profile with your location.
Cheers
