Any difference between a regular thorned Mexican Key Lime and a thornless Mexican Key Lime, beside the obvious ???

Anyone growing both, side by side?

Your observation? Size, taste, leaves, etc.?

Thanks.

They're pretty much identical except for the thorns and for the fact that the thornless form usually bears far fewer fruit. Others here have observed that their thornless KL bore heavily, but that is the exception, not the rule. In Florida, the difference is usually very marked (less than half as many fruit on thornless KL).
