I just picked up a Tango mandarin on clearance for $5. It sounds like a relatively new variety, but I wanted to see what every one's thoughts are with respect to flavor compared to Page, Gold Nugget and USDA 88-2 which are the other three varieties I'm growing.

Thanks,
Phillip

I guess it's just a seedless W.Murcott. I love W.Murcotts myself.

By the way, five dollars is a great deal. I'm jealous. Despite living in a Citrus state, I feel like I'm in Citrus prison here in Arizona sometimes. Varieties are hard to come by outside of the usuals. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on taste.

Do you like Gold Nugget?

Yes, but I haven't eaten a lot of the fruit from the tree. The kids get first dibbs while Daddy's slaving away at work. Smile
