Does anyone have any information on the specific Sour Orange variety "Odovoidea"? I have heard that it is tolerant to tristeza virus. - Millet (1,086-)

Here in south Texas we have been using sour orange constantly , but a new hybrid has surfaced and is doing d tremely good here in deep south texas. It is a mandarin- trifoliate
I asked our local citrus center and he will get back at me tommorrow on that variety

Is it anything to do with Citrus obovoidea, the Japanese Kinkoji, also used as rootstock.

Pagnr, you know I wondered the same thing. I have been told that the Odovoidea variety was a Sour Orange. I could not find any such named variety associated with Sour Orange. There is nothing in any of my books, nor on the Inernet. I bet the person naming it as a Sour Orange must be mistaken. - Millet (1,085-)
