Here's my 30-in-1 citrus tree that just had 12 more cultivars added this season. If all cultivars will take, this would be a 42-n-1 citrus tree! This has year round fruits. It has blooms right now and also green fruits. You can't see the lemons, they're in the back. The mandarins on the top, sweet oranges in the middle, lemons in the back and grapefruits and orangelos in the bottom canopy.

Some budwoods have died due to all the record breaking rains we're having, but I did redundant grafts per variety, and had only one that seemed to rot away from all of this moisture (I did not cover the budwood completely).

Thanks Westwood.

The leaves with deficiency symptoms on the right is Vainiglia Sanguigno that got exposed to the cold without any protection at all. It is from another tree (multi-grafted pigmented oranges tree) and is not grafted to the 42-n-1 citrus tree. Sometimes nutrient deficiencies are caused by low temperatures rather than the lack of nutrients in the soil. The leaves will soon turn dark green as it gets warmer here. We're having too much rain and prolonged cool temperature.

But notice how dark the grapefruit leaves are on the bottom canopy. It got down to 25 deg F this winter, and several days of frosts, and even an arctic blast late in the season, and none of my grapefruit and pummelo leaves, lemons and limes got damaged in the 42-n-1 citrus tree. Mandarins on the top canopy took the brunt of the frost and became a good biological blanket for those cold sensitive cultivars below them.

With out a doubt, impressive and magnificent. How old is the tree itself? You are an inspiration to me. I can't wait to start my multi-cirtus (fruit-cocktail) tree and there is no question that it can be done.

Congradulations.

DisneyGirl, that tree is about 5 years old, give or take a few months. It is about 11 ft high. I have been grafting on it for balance and control of height, and now for craziness... Laughing
