I recently visited a wholesale nursery here in England which imports a lot of potted citrus trees - mainly from Italy.
I couldn't resist buying this Bergamot, as I've never seen one available here before. It has one fruit yellow/orange and small grapefruit size.
Bergamot oil is used as a perfume base and in the flavouring of Earl Grey tea. A small area along the Italian coast is the worlds main producer.
