My sister in New Orleang gave this to me recently, she says it is very good.
2 cups meyer lemon juice
2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
blend well and freeze.

I made this recipe for a 6th grade party only I sub fresh Key Lime Juice for the lemon Juice and I made my own buttermilk by adding vinegar to regular milk.. It went over well.. All the kids were amazed I made my own sherbet and it was one of the few kid made dishes that was ALL gone before the party was over.. I forgot all about that.. I need to make some with my kids.. I bet they would love it..
