Do you have other citruses around? The variegated eureka lemon in my 61-n-1 citrus tree is seeded. |

Thanks you for your answer, yesterday I've opened about ten lemons, and I found one ore two seeds in two fruits, and the other ones are seedless.
( yes, there are a lot of citruses around). |

My variegated Eureka usually has some very small undeveloped seed in them. The variegated Lisbon on the other hand usually has 2-3 fulley developed seed per fruit. The difference between the two is the Eureka has pink flesh & the Lisbon has yellow flesh. Both have variegated fruit. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

I picked up one of these Variegated Pink Eureka Lemon plants yesterday. What would be the thresh hold for low temps that this could manage? I'd imagine about 25°F would be about it and back above freezing daytime ... ya?
Cheers, Barrie. |

Barrie they may be able to take 25 F without frost, but with frost and 25 F you will get some major branch die back. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Thanks Todd... I'll keep it well protected to avoid any disappointments.
BTW ... I just learned that GregN (Greg Neil) from up our way will be attending the citus expo this year.
Unforunatly it's not in the cards unless something real nice shakes out for me.
Thanks for the info.
Cheers, Barrie. |
