I'm wondering when's the best time to plant citrus? Presently all of my potted citrus are actively growing and I'm hesitant to plant. Would being dormant be the best time to plant?

Barrie as soon as the last chance of cold damage is over is the best time to plant so the tree can have as long of a growing season as possible. I suppose your soil temp is warm enough?

Cold weather is behind us now. My only reluctance is based on planting an actively growing specimen. I'd hate to shock them and have a set back since there's very active new growth and flower buds.
