Maybe I'll have better luck in this forum...

I need some knowledge from people who are growing mangos:

Does a mango tree grow back the leaves that it dropped??? In the same area of the trunk/stem?

Mine is dropping one or two leaves every 2-3 days, so I am concern. I don't want to have a skinny mango trunk or just a stick pointing out of a container.

My indoor tree does not replace leaves lost but grows new ones at the branch tips. Do you know if the tree would respond well if topped? I'd like to know as I'm considering doing so.

Mine occassionally drops leaves. As Junglekeeper stated, most growth occurs at the tips. Sometimes you will luck out and the tree will push new growth somewhere else on the stem.

Check your PH and make sure the plant is not waterlogged. Also check for mites, thrips, fungus.
