I have a mature citrus plant with brown tips on a few of the leaves. Most of the leaves are dark green and healthy, but some are turning brown from the tips and falling off the tree.
I suspect this might be caused by excessive rainfall over the past several months. We had 17 inches of rain in September, 18 in October, 7 in December, 5 in January, 5 so far in February. We average 60 inches of rain per year and just in the last 6 months more than 60 inches! I hope the rain stops soon and hopefully a few months in the future with little or no rain.

The soil is well drained and have not fertilized for years.

Is this common with excessive rainfall? I doubt it is caused by salt burn.
