I have some citrus seed that I would like to attempt to germinate. Would it be better to pot them now and leave them outside (Dickinson/League City Texas area) or clean them and put them in the refrigerator until we get spring like temperatures?

I do not intend to bring them inside or provide any artificial heat and we are probably a zone 8b/9a climate most winters here. Thanks for any help.

You can do either. If you save them for spring, dry overnight, put in ziplock bag in the refrig and add a little fungicide so they won't mold. This year I have half already in pots outside and the rest in the refrig.
