I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day. We just had our fill of a great cajun fried turkey-- the best way to cook a turkey IMHO. In any case, I hope you all enjoy a great dinner -- whatever way you like your turkey.

Skeet
Great Thanksgiving Day and I followed President Bush’s lead by pardoning my turkey dinner for pork roast and shrimp gumbo. Picked a bucket of Satsuma’s, a few papayas and persimmons, so we are in hog heaven.
Hope everyone is enjoying this day of thanks!

Hello Skeeter,
Usually my men in Solid Waste Management and Recycling (one of the divisions of Grounds) treat me to a Cajun Fried Turkey-it is pretty neat to see them injecting the spices and dropping the great bird into frying oil-BUT Sad this year they did not invite me-My wife and I baked a large Publix Turkey breast side down-and it was very moist and quite tasty (apparently Publix soaks the turkeys in some sort of seasoning marinade)-our turkey was very good-but I am sure that yours was better!
