I have several peach trees with peach babies on them, and a hard freeze expected tonight and tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to minimize the damage to the peach crop or is it more or less a total loss? The trees are about 4ft tall and not fully leafed out yet. Its still 40°F at the moment. The low expected is 24°F. These trees were planted last spring.

Cover then with sheets or blankets and put a 5 gal bucket of hot water under the cover.

Good luck.
