South Louisiana bananas. I dont know the make and model as they were there when I purchased the property but they are the tallest banana plants I have ever seen and they make tons of bananas. Some of the stalks are 30 feet tall. I have 40 stalks right now. After bearing the stalk dies and falls over and a new one is on the way. I pick the entire stalk when the bottom bananas turn yellow. The rest of them on the stalk follow with 3 or 4 banans ripening each day. David

Beatiful stalk of bananas. Mine flowers to late in the year to get any bananas off of it. It is one of the SH series, 3640 I think.
Every year I keep trying........Gary
