Does anyone have any information on the spanish navel variety brownie.
Fruits currently on season in UK. Skin a mixture of green and orange, giving overall appearance of being brown. No external navel but large internally.
Fruit as advertised very sweet. Good balance of acids so not insipid.
Fruits have been seedless so far.
Also in season moro blood oranges fron Sicily, disappointed with colour and flavour this year. Again seedless so far.

A brown navel orange came to attention in Australia recently

Any chance the fruit is coming from Australia ?
ie marketed as a brown Navalina(Spanish), rather than oranges from Spain(Spanish) ?
