Well, I did it. After two years of battling mealybugs and other critters with neem, soaps, and pyrethrin sprays, I'm going to try the beneficials. I ordered mealybug destroyers and lacewings. Any one else using beneficials? What is your experience? Robert

The main problem with beneificials in a greenhouse, is that they pretty much all starve to death, after they eat all their target bugs. Therefore have to be continually replaced. At this time of year I get a lot of black fly (tiny aphids) when the new tender leaf growth starts. Lady bugs would be good at this time of year for control. However, unfortunately there are no lady bugs for sale in Colorado during March and April. - Millet

One neat way to attract beneficials is to raise a host plant that has a pest that is specific to it- Dr. Russell Mizell and Dr.Gary Knox have done research with using Crape Myrtles that you may find interesting.Crape Myrtles attract the crapemyrtle aphid(which attacks only Crape Mrytles Very Happy )Beneficials will come to munch on the aphids and will linger to help gardeners!

Perhaps you could plant Crape Myrtles not too far away from your greenhouse or possibly find another host plant to raise aphids on to attract a variety of beneficials Wink
