Okay Marc,
You asked for it. I'm from California and also have UCR budwoods. How about asking for budwoods of your:
Marrakech Limetta,
Fairchild Mandarin,
Nova Mandarin,
Bouqet De Fleurs Orange,
Ellendale Tangelo,
Pearl Tangelo
in exchange of the following:
Ponkan
Vainiglia Sanguigno
Castello Lime
Sanguina Doble Fina
Washington Sanguine
Clementina Fina
Just in case you wanted to buy some budwoods from the participants who chickened out at the last minute, you can pay at the usual rate from the following pile of UCR budwoods. You can save on shipping and I can provide you at least 3 buds per cultivar.
Mary Ellen Lime
Yen Ben Lemon
Interdonato Lemon
Seedless lemon (VI 492)
Etrog Citron
Dom Joao Valencia
Valencia Late
Mato Buntan Pummelo
Jincheng Sweet Orange
Xuegan Sweet Orange
Cogan Navel
Navelina
Navelate
Armstrong Satsuma
Carte Noir
Clementina Caffin
Clementina fina
Clementina Marisol
Clementine Monreal
Kara
Kinnow
Kuno Wase Satsuma
Miyagawa
Neopolitiana
Seedless Kishu
Silverhill

Joe, I am STUNNED even DAZED that people "chickened" out of the budwood order at the last minute, after you went to all the efforts to help everyone out. I will buy what ever budwood you cannot use or have left over. Many are varieties that I don't have. I'll even purchase the varieties that I already have - no problem. Send me a Email. - Millet |

Thanks Millet!
Will contact you over the weekend about other details. Citrusboy already contacted me about the other budwoods.
Sometimes, that's a risk that I take when some people just disappear at the meet or have backed out after I placed and received the orders. Thanks for helping me out on this. This is the trouble that sometimes some of us has to go through just to get a sample o new cultivar. It's still worth it even if there are some rough people in the mix. I am greatly awed that are also very good hearted people that are willing to help. So thanks again!

Joe, It is hard to believe anyone would be that cheap! If they ordered it they should repay you, even if they no longer wanted the budwood.
When everyone has what they want, and if you have any left, I would be interested in the Seedless Kishu and Silverhill. I would be happy to repay your cost.

Ned and Gina,
Please check with your state regulations if it is okay for you to get budwoods, otherwise we will all be tending citruses in Federal prisons, I hope they have citruses there. Free health care coverage, free board and lodging, cable tv, gym exercises, nothing can beat that! California spends on the average about $65K per prisoner each year. I'm only in prison if I can't get tend to a live citrus tree.
Anyway, let me know if you are clean with your state regs, contact me by email.

Alas, none of my flying dragons is greater than about 4ga (awg size), none are the size of a pencil. Might help if I fertilized them on a more regular basis (and i just repotted and ferted about half of them) |

Citrusboy,
You wouldn't still happen to have any of that budwood left would you?
Please let me know, I can send you postage. Just tell me how much and what you might have left.
Thanks!

I know these posts are over a yr. old ...but in due season, I would be interested in UCR budwood:
China Satsuma S-9
Xie Shan Satsuma
I live in NW Alabama, my collection is small and young, so trade is not in the cards as of this date.
I also look forward to hearing about new, sweet, & early Satsuma cultivars....that my local extension service says "I can't" grow here
Stan McKenzie...this is all ur fault
I may never recover from this, yet another addiction
I think Ned might have had a hand in it too....

hi jim, welcome to the club. My china s-9 and xie shan grafts are still only a foot high. Maybe i can send you some budwood in a year. By then you will have a billion trees and no more room for grafts. _________________ citrusboy aka marc
