hey guys i just got over 900 mahogany 2x6 for 100 bucks ..

Now im gonna rip it and cut it then run it threw a planner .. any way im currious as to what a good thickness is for hard wood flooring ?

also my main floor is cement so ? any advice is welcomed and Begged for Tammy

Well that is a great buy for sure. I wonder if cutting the thickness in half would be sufficent. After planing and sanding you'd wind up with something about a half inch to 9/16" thick. I think with a solid sub-flooring, you'd be fine. There's plenty of free advise at local and big box hardware stores if you plan to lay this over concrete.
