In the greenhouse today I planted sweet corn, red, yellow, orange and green bell peppers, cantaloupe, beets, lettuce, and green beans. Besides my citrus trees (80+), I also have growing in the ground two varieties of tomatoes, 14 pineapples (two presently fruiting and the others in various stages of growth), a pomegranate tree, two varieties of bananas, artichokes, papayas, soon a bed of strawberries, four varieties of palm trees, a collection of orchids, plus various types of other flowering plants. So let it snow all it wants, and I hope it snows a ton this year, summer is just 300 feet away. - Millet

Bob
Sounds like you have been busy and one heck of a variety of vegetables.
Question, how do you pollinate the tomatoes? The reason that I ask is that I just read a greenhouse article where they use a leaf blower every other day with good results.
Have your propane prices fallen at the same rate as gasoline prices?

Karl, my tomatoes grow up a netting that is attached to the top of the greenhouse (11-feet). I just shake the netting whenever I pass by. I really do not know what the current price of propane is, I hope it is going down. - Millet

The elevation of my greenhouse in Colorado is 5,480 ft. At this elevation the light intensity is very strong, even in the winter months. - Millet
