Hi,
Are US-852 and US-812 are patented rootstocks? If not, do you know any nursery selling seeds? I read very good comments on these new rootstocks.
Thanks, |

AFAIK, most USDA developed cultivars are non-patent. Only the University-developed cultivars can be patented by the universities that developed them. |

I'll keep an eye out for them. These are not publicly available as rootstock budwoods in the CCPP. |

Do you know of anyone willing to spare a few seeds? Tracing the USDA website to get a lead on possible sources of seeds becomes convoluted and circular. |

I will check around. Right now no one wants to touch anything from FL. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

US-897 Cleopatra mandarin x flying dragon poncirus.
US-852: Changsha mandarin x english large flowered poncirus
US-812: Sunki mandarin x Benecke poncirus
Others tested
US-942, US-802, US-801, US-809, US-827, US-896, US-952. Most are sunki mandarin, changsha mandarin, or cleopatra mandarin crosses with Poncirus trifoliata but US-827 is a Citrus Limonia x Poncirus and US-802 is a Siamese Pummelo x Poncirus Trifoliata
Anyone have any personal input on how they perform? |
