Does anybody have seeds of a Citrumelo, US 852 or/and CRC-3912?
These are reported to be cold hardy enough for my climate.
Thank you!

You can get plants of various named citrumelo from adavo.

Adam also has one of Bernard's f2 seedlings from poncirus x changsha, possibly the crc1339 (citremon?) or similar.

Adavo seem to have a lot of items Bernard used to have before the 2008-9 , 2009-10 winters plus items fron soviet times and places like tintori and baches.

In Germany you could try Agrumi passion.

Sorry Mikkel lost track of the crc number you wanted.

Adavo have crc 3192 which is citrange c35 along with other citranges, citremons, citradia
And other hardy types which will survive most years in your area.

Those years when Bernard's stock was wiped out were exceptional and you would need serious protection for plants to survive.

thanks yuzuquat, the crc 1339 is interesting when it is a changsha x poncirus cross. Problem is ADAVO refused to send to Germany. I got a response in czech, saying I can change adress to a czech one and they will send it then...?
Don`t know what this means...
Does anyone purchased from ADAVO last time?

I ordered twice from Adavo last year and recieved 22plants from him delivered to uk.

When I first contacted him he was quite open to sending plants. Wanted payment by bank transfer. This is difficult and costly to do from uk for small sums of money.

I pay by cash in Czech krona, 4000 for 11plants. Usually dispatched next day after receipt of payment. 2parcels take 2-3days to get to Germany or Belgium by road and then get stu ck at Heathrow for about 10days. Tracking shows still at Heathrow when parcels are delivered.
Parcels can be pretty battered by time they arrive and most of the plastic pots will be cracked. On the plants an occassional branch is either broken in transit or in my eagerness to unpack the tightly bunched plants.

Plants are of good size many available on either poncirus or citrumelo rootstock and work out at about 15euro/plant. This cost should be lower to Germany due to lower frieght costs, will get plants for you if really no other way.

good to hear about your experience.
It turned out, that the 1st email was from someone else, who is involved with the webpage. So I wrote an other one and everthing is fine!
So waiting time can just begin....Smile

Good luck with your plants when they arrive.

Sure you will be amazed with the quality.

Will be putting my 3rd order in March time taking my collection up to 60 or so plants.
