I've decided I want a Eustis limequat, but I can't find a source for one in Florida or with a company that can ship to Florida.

Anyone know of a source?

He's currently got three limequats listed, but nothing about what variety they are.

I spent about an hour Googling around looking for one plus looking at the various suppliers listed on this site and could find them in California and the U.K. if I recall correctly but nothing in Florida.

The search continues.

I am not sure if I should say anything, I may have been an unusual case.
Beware of Secret Garden Rare Plants on Ebay....I tried to order a Buddhas hand from them onetime. I won the auction, everything was great. It was a time when for some strange reason alot of my outgoing mail seemed to be getting lost or misdirected. I REALLY wanted to get the Buddhas Hand, so I wasn't going to take any chances, I sent my payment via Certified Mail.
To make a long story short, she was not home when the mailman tried to deliver my payment, he ended up leaving a postcard to come to the Post Office and sign for the payment. She informed me, they DON'T accept Certified mail and if she "Gets the chance" to go by the Post Office to get the money she will. She never apparently got the chance and my money was sent back to me. Strange story...yes....just a coincidence..perhaps....will I bid on anything offered by them.....NO!
Just my two cents worth.
As a side note, it apparently was a blessing in disguise....again, LONG story short....It caused me to get to meet a new, GOOD friend...Joe in Colorado.

Alan, Flying Dragon Citrus Nursery in Jacksonville lists limequats, but I am not sure what kind they have. You could call and ask. They don't ship, but most folks end up going through Jacksonville at one time or another anyway. http://www.flyingdragoncitrusnursery.com/products/index.htm

Another approach is that you can order budwood from the state. I am not sure what the present availability is, given the canker problem, but I would suggest you contact them. They have always seemed very helpful to me.

Alan, I recently bought what was determined to be a Eustis limequat from a Home Depot in Canada. In the process of tracking down the wholesale grower in Florida I learned a few things. This Google search returns what I believe to be a list of nurseries in Florida that carry citrus (SPECIALTIES=CI). Hope this helps.

Wouldn't it be ironic if someone in Canada managed to hook you up with a grower in your own state?!

Well, I found the nursery that produced two of my trees. I'll have to look and see if I still have the inspection tags for any of the others.

I did a Google search on the number 47220651 which turned up the document I needed on the first hit.

http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/pi/plantinsp/nursery_directory/alphabet_reports/r_nsy.pdf

that told me the nursery that produced my tree is:

47220651 RECORD BUCK FARMS 22900 N BUCKHILL RD HOWEY IN THE FL 34737 35 3523243447 10 W O CI

If anyone has any other Florida nursery they need to look up from their inspection number this is the URL you want:

http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/pi/plantinsp/nursery_directory/nur_directory.html

There are various tables to explain all the codes and stuff.

Thanks JungleKeeper for helping with this. I hadn't thought to search on that inspection number.

You're welcome, Alan. My limequat also came from Record Buck Farms - a big nursery apparently.

Thanks Junglekeeper-- I bookmarked that site.
I'm glad I have the lakeland as it says, it's a little bigger, less seeds and not so acidic.
