Laaz interestingly, as you certainly seen, the seller lives in Longmont Colorado, which is about half way between Citrus Joe and I. Longmont would be about 35 minutes from me and a half hour from Joe. He does not say what variety the grapefruit is, nor if it is a grafted tree or was grown from seed. I was going to ask the grower a question about it, but I do not have a e-bay account, thus I don't have a e-bay account number, so was unable to ask. BTW have you seen AAE's e-bay site? He also is selling citrus trees through e-bay? (Longview TX). Citrus Joe, e-mailed me a copy of AAE's e-bay seller's page about three weeks ago. That is why Adam got on me so hard about the negitive e-bay comments I made on GW. Remember? - Millet

Hi Millet. Yes I sent Joe the links to AAE's auctions. I'll email to seller & see what he has to say about the tree.

Thanks Laaz, let me know what he says. If grafted and if it is a variety Joe or I don't have perhaps we'll contact him Also if you think he is OK you might invite him to the forum. - Millet

From the seller. This is all he can tell me.

""Grown from a seed and has never grown fruit. It is 15 years old. Thanks for your interest!"

At 15 years old, it should produce fruit soon. Come on Millet you know you have a nice spot for it in the corner of your greenhouse Laughing

Millet & Joe, that tree NEEDS you!

Can someone send me the link to see AAE's ebay site?
Almost 2 months ago I got on ****** & sent Adam a email -- asking about the nursery. Never heard back. Maybe he got fired?

Laaz,I got a catologue from www.ediblelandscaping.com and noticed a lot of variegated plants. I know you like to collect them.
I found variegated russian kiwi, elderberry, pink lemon and a tricolor houttuynia (hot tuna) herb that I just may order.

Hey Patty, Just some friendly advice, the Tricolor Houttuynia is amazing. When grown in full sun the colors will be very vivid. Warning Arrow It is a very aggressive spreader! Also it's very pungent when cut. Confused

Thanks Mantis. The book says good ground cover..also used as a pond plant (I have a pond). Says it has a gingery taste & herbal scent - used in oriental cooking. "grow where spreading is not a problem".
hmmmm, now I really want this plant.
