Would have taken more pics but I was helping to cut fruit. Perfect day out too!

Ate about a zillion 88-2's and Bidwell's Bar Orange. Eremocitrus Glauca and the E. G. Hybrid were just blooming and didn't have any fruit. I looked under the tree for any fallen fruit that I could salvage. Nothing. I did spot 1 fruit probably left over from the last bloom, snagged it and found 3 tiny seeds. Planted. Now we wait.

Another interesting find was the Chinotto Sour Orange/Persian Lime Hybrid. Looks like a Calamondin. Taste like a lime! Planted some seeds.

Looks like a good time. What was the event that they were having? How were the 88-2's taste compared to Gold Nuggets? I'm interested in finding a tree to one up the Gold Nugget. With two toddlers in our house who have discovered my Gold Nugget tree, I need to find another mandarin to sink my teeth into (and to keep their paws off of). Smile

ha good luck with that! Gold nuggets and the 88-2's were both super good. The one tree everyone was going crazy over was the seedless kishu.

The event was a 2 day citrus class they have once a year. 1 day in class and 1 in the collection. I volunteered to help cut fruit for everyone with two other folks from ucr.
