We just finished the lower half of the western states, and done with Mt. Lassen Area, then we're off to the upper parts up to Canada and head straight home.

Realistically it will be a month more before I can catch up with all of you. I miss this group already.

Hi Gina!

We are at home right now and will leave again tomorrow. We are feasting on ripe fruits, some wines will be brewing like mad today, so can't stay online much longer.

Plants are on autopilot mode. All UCR budwoods have pushed, whether T-bud or bark graft. Can't believe I caught the Algerian and Satsuma off their guard 2 weeks ago as I have 100% take this time, often it is not that high during summer grafting.

I hope I can sort through the pictures, my kids are taking them, so it is focused on other things. Posting the pics may take 3 months more, with the massive memory sticks we have to sort through.

It was very hot at the top of the falls, about mid 90's and when you get down, it is like in a giant AC stadium, temp is just 65 deg F midway to the water level.
