Ahah! All the queen palms planted in the last 20 years around here have fried fronds from our recent deep freeze to 19F We shall see if the trees survived!

Around Gainesville it looks like the fan palms have taken a licking, too soon to say how many were killed outright, but I've seen many that appear that they are going to lose all of their fronds.

The Sago Palms (yes, I know they're cycads) got it in the ear as well though some appear to have taken only little to moderate damage while others look like they're going to be completely defoliated, perhaps completely killed.

Haven't noticed any other palms with freeze damage.
