What can we do to a guy hugging the whole forum and just ask one question. "Anyone fron LA?" .
The reason why we have a topic in each forum is to go along with the topic and not diverse from that.

Benny:

I think that nospice did not intentionally hog the various topics. nospice did it perhaps to have bigger chances of reaching out to people in Louisiana who are members of this forum. nospice might just be excited, perhaps too excited, which is good. Also, we do not have clear category for such inquiry, so we must be forgiving if nospice did this. So perhaps posting it to just 2 major one, inground and container citrus topics.

nospice: there is no need to post in all the various forum topics. You may not be completely familiar with the User Interface of this forum, tricks that most more familiar users simply click on "View Posts Since Last Visit" found on the middle right hand side of the screen above the forum topic bar. Then lo and behold, we will get the new topic whereever you posted it, so once is enough.

Paul, So we most welcome you here. As indicated in my posts, we are very forgiving bunch and understand your situation, have given you slack, forgiven, although no need to apologize a lot. Sometimes I'm also guilty myself.

I've heard that a lot of citrus groves, even very old ones were damaged far worse by Katrina than the occasional cold freezes. Buddinman has emailed me that the Louisiana State University has held off major funds in their citrus research, and I hope that someday they will be restored fully.

most everything south of myrtle grove was lost including the citrus station. so sad because a small group of my friends and i were to visit the station in november to taste citrus off the trees and gain some info from the experts so much for katrina.
