Congratulations are in order to Laaz for starting this forum a few years ago. We are fast approaching the 1000th member. The forum has been a big help to me with my business... I sometimes have customers who seem to have 1000 questions. The solution is easy, I just refer them to Citrus.forumup.org. IF the answer to your citrus question isnt covered on here, then it has to be a pretty complicated question! Just think, if it were not for Disneyland, none of this would have ever happend! Im guessing we will pass the 1000 mark on or about Nov 1st. Any of you other board members care to make a prediction as to when the threshold will be passed??? Lets make our guesses and the person closest to the actual date will recieve a years supply of trifoliate seed from yours truly! Any psuedo psychics out there???? _________________ Y ORANGE U Growin Citrus

Okay, I'll guess November 8th!
What influence did Disneyland have in the starting of the forum? I must have missed something! _________________ Harvey |

Harvey Gardenweb was notorious for banning people who's posts they didn't like. Once you were banned, when you tried to access gardenweb you were redirected to Disneyland.com... _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

I got sent to Disneyland around the same day that Laaz did.
Imagine banning Stan from a citrus forum???!!!
I'll bet Nov 7 we should reach 1000. _________________ Patty

I may have a little insight into this, Right Stan?!
I am going to guess a little earlier than most...let's say October 27th.

I never liked the format of GW so I don't think I've ever posted there, just browsed some of the time. I'm glad I missed out on the frustration! _________________ Harvey |

A lot of us got our start on Gardenweb but soon found the need for better & more accurate information and less drama. It is a great thing that Laaz set up this forum. I find the Citrus Growers Forum more like the Big League while most all other forums out there are like the Minors. |

And then there's me. A minor league player that gets to talk with they guys and gals in the major league. I appreciate those folks taking the time for all of us backyard gardeners.

Stan, I was not such a good girl. When they banned me (I was one of us who told some goofball off), I promised them (GW) it would never happen again & apologized and they let me back on. So I used the opportunity to tell this idiot off again & got sent to Disneyland again. Things we wrote got deleted- the NERVE, but oh, what fun! After Laaz started this, that same idiot tried to join here!!
Laaz, you keep deleting those spammers. If one person joins every 1 to 1 1/2 days I'll be real close LOL _________________ Patty

Sounds like I better get a day in, I'll go with Nov 2nd.
I'm not much for sappy sentiment but I have to say- you have a great forum here.
