Yesterday, August 2nd, I brought my Canary Island Date Palm out of the greenhouse to spend the rest of the Summer and Fall in the back yard near the patio. The tree spends its winters inside my greenhouse. This year, even with my son's help, we had to use our fork lift to move it. I have a 4-ft. high X 4-ft. square container in the barn waiting for the time the tree needs to be transplanted into a larger container. Perhaps, this Fall will be the time to use it. - Millet (1,262-)

Any photos? I'll bet it's a great looking palm.

Here's mine.
Cheers, Barrie.
