Hi, I have a 15 years old nagami kumquat tree that put out below average size fruits. Part of it is my fault because I didn't water or fertilize it for like 4 years. In 2010, I nourished the tree back to health with dark green leaves and it reaches height of 10 feets and 5 feet all around. It has no sign of disease and maybe the best looking citrus in the neighborhood. The only problem is that it put out smaller fruits. I pretty did everything to make the tree happy. 2 inches of mulch; 6-8 hours of sunlight; fertilize it: urine, vigoro citrus food, azomite, cotton seed meals, compost soup, etc. anybody has luck increasing citrus fruit size? thanks.
