I got a couple of bottles of the Alaska fish emulsion on clearance at Lowes for a couple dollars (probably too many complaints about the smell so they thought something was wrong and put it on clearance). I have plenty of fertilizers, but I started looking into the trace elements in the fish emulsion. Two of the 15 trace minerals were "Sodium" and "Chloride", but it didn't say in what quantities. Is anyone aware if the salt content in fish emulsion is anything to be concerned with?

Thanks,
Phillip

If they are listed as trace, it should be pretty small --I would think less than 1%. Since salt is very soluble it should wash right through.

I used that stuff often last summer. The smell attracted some suburban possums and coons. My wife loved that. They dug into one Twisted Evil plant but then left it alone. I almost had to go "Bill Murray" on him.
