Yup, an excellent game. Both teams were evenly matched. I think I'll go dust off my old St Louis Blues jersey... T.J. Oshie was solid in the shootout.

Barrie, Canada was by far the best Hockey team on the ice. I'm just happy that Russia failed to receive a metal of any type. If the USA could not win the gold, then I wanted Canada to win gold. What I would rather see is real amateurs playing, and not NHL players. - Millet

Millet I agree with you about the pros. I guess it all started in USA with basketball. Others country's teams were made up of professional athletes but for a few years USA had college basketball players on our Olympic team. Then we didn't win the gold , once as best I remember. Ever since we have had pros playing all the sports if we had any available. It's not for amateurs any more. I have never understood how anybody any where could make a living running track .....the red headed South Korean speed skater "playing" for Russia put everything in perspective for me. NOT !
