I wa just checking my Lisbon lemon tree for any signs of new growth from the warm weather we have had recently and I noticed that the Meyer lemon bud I put on it in the fall of 2006 looks like it is finally going to break! Actually, I also found another old bud that is about to break-- only problem is I have lost the tag and do not know what variety it is--bummer! But even then there are only about 4 varieties that I did not get to take in that grafting spree.

As for signs of growth-- the first thing I can see is tiny purplish-black spots at the base of a lot of leaves--I can even see flower buds that are about a mm in diameter.
