Medium-sized fruit; yellow rind; oblate with depression at apex; rind moderately rough, thick; seedy; medium-large hollow core; flesh light yellow, coarse but juicy, flavor sweet; not attractive fruit.
Sad

I am familiar with this description. For me, it is attractive enough. Laughing

Tanaka put it separately as citrus shunkokan, Swingle include it to citrus sinensis. So fruit will say more. Smile Idea

There's an attractive looking AMOA8! Laughing

I wonder... do you take your plants inside during the winter? Those containers must be large and heavy! Shocked Very Happy

Yes, you right, they are 100 and 110 liters pots. Each spring and fall, I have to move them from and to the greenhouse. And my spine do not like it.
So, this is one of the reasons to built bigger permanent greenhouse and put all the plants into the ground finaly.

AMOA8 fruits from the previous summer flowering slowly turning red outside and inside.
All fruits, that I tested , have no seeds, or aborted seeds so far.
For me, the taste is best while pulp is still orange - it tastes like high quality sweet orange.

Looks promising! Very Happy
Not as red as in some of the pictures I've seen but they are probably still ripening...

Yes, the colour is still developing. I have fruits which are deeper red, but I have to say, that more red means, that the taste is changing from great sweet to something like overripe fruit taste.

Another AMOA fruit, still no seeds. This sample have a great taste of citrus with a hint of pomegranate. Looks like perspective variety for me.
